We are excited to announce that baby #7 is on the way.

This new excitement has already had it's trials.  For a while we thought that we might be loosing this baby too.  But, after a series of bloodwork and an ultrasound, it seems that all is well.  I was able to see the tiny little heartbeat.  I never cease to be amazed by the little beating heart after just a few short weeks.

The kids are beyond excited.  They are already making their claim for a boy or girl and coming up with baby names...haha.  Personally, I think that Abby deserves a little sister after having five brothers:)  But, I am just happy to see that little heart beat and know that we will soon have another sweet little one to love.

Here is a picture of a baby's feet at 11 weeks.  Our baby is now 10 weeks.

(Thanks to for this picture.)

God's creation is so amazing and fantastic...I am in awe.

Looking forward to the learning experience that this pregnancy will be for the older kids.  We have started studying the development of our baby and the kids were able to see a picture of a baby at eight weeks as well as an ultrasound video of our baby at eight weeks. Wesley's response was to say "eeewww" and cover his eyes...haha.

This will be the best pro-life lesson that my kids could ever receive.  They will see ultrasound pictures, watch ultrasound movies, learn about each stage of development, and then eventually...hold this baby in their arms, and spend the rest of their lives loving this new member of our family.

We are looking forward to meeting this little blessing in early February:)
